The Yale Center for Media and Instructional Innovation (CMI2) is pleased to announce the release of 10 new additions to the Open Yale Courses series. Open Yale Courses provides free, public access to lectures and other learning materials from a broad range of introductory courses taught on campus.

The new courses, recorded during the 2008-2009 academic year, are:

Dante in Translation, with Giuseppe Mazzotta
European Civilization, 1648-1945, with John Merriman
Freshman Organic Chemistry, with J. Michael McBride
Global Problems of Population Growth, with Robert Wyman
Introduction to New Testament History and Literature, with Dale B. Martin
Introduction to the Theory of Literature, with Paul H. Fry
Listening to Music, with Craig Wright
Principles of Evolution, Ecology and Behavior, with Stephen C. Stearns
The Psychology, Biology and Politics of Food, with Kelly Brownell
Roman Architecture, with Diana E.E. Kleiner

With the current release, 25 courses from 14 departments are now available through Open Yale Courses. Eleven additional courses are slated for production in the 2009-10 academic year.

The CMI2 produces the Open Yale Courses media and website, under the leadership of the project's principal investigator Diana E. E. Kleiner, Dunham Professor of the History of Art and Classics. learn more about the project >
